Dating can seem hard. It is hard to find someone that shares your same interests. It is hard to find someone you connect with. Looking for love is definitely a hard road to travel.

Dating conversation can be the most awkward situation a person can ever find themselves in. Stating a dating conversation is frustrating. For many people just the anticipation is enough to make them not even try to find conversation starters.

In starting a conversation while dating you are actually at an advantage because you both already have something in common – you are on a date together, at the same place, with, hopefully, the same intentions. The only thing left to do is pick one of those three things to talk about and get started.

The following section explains what types of conversation starters work best in a dating situation. These tips can help you to understand why certain topics result in better conversation.

You can then use this knowledge to help yourself start some good dating conversations.

1. Observant comments.

Starting a conversation by commenting on something around you allows your date to participate in the conversation. You could make a comment about something interesting your date is wearing or about the place you are at.

Observant comments focus the conversation on something both of you can talk about and shows your date that you are at ease enough to be looking at things around you, not just focusing on yourself.

2. Adding humor.

Almost everyone can appreciate a good joke. People love to laugh. It releases tension and will generally put someone at ease. Adding in a little humor to your conversation will liven things up.

It will show your date you are not afraid to laugh and you are fun to be around. Be careful of focusing too much on being funny, though. Let it come naturally.

3. Be unique.

Say something interesting or unusual. Avoid being weird, though. Catch your date off guard with something that is not a cliché. Try to go outside the box and be creative.

These three conversation starter tips will help you to start out the conversation on a good note. Plus you can avoid common problems that lead to boring conversation.

1. Ask if his or her day was as boring as yours. 2. Ask how he or she got their current job. 3. Ask your date if he or she has ever dreamed of living somewhere else and where and why he or she would live there. 4. Comment on the unusual décor of the restaurant. 5. Comment on a current event. 6. Ask your date if he or she has a special hobby.

These are some simple conversation starters that can really take off into a better conversation. You can share back and forth and really get to know more about your date through these conversations.

Why Date a Russian Woman

So…what makes these women so special?

This is a question that I am often asked by men new to the world of international dating. Those guys fortunate enough to have met or visited the Former Soviet Union (FSU) already know the answer!

The first thing is that these women still have “traditional” values. Now this phrase probably means something a little different to everyone who hears it. So let’s qualify this a bit. A FSU woman will want to have children and a family. Yes, she will want to be a wife and mother. Many will be totally happy in these roles alone. Some will like to work outside the home as well.

By and large these women know how to be a wife and mother! The whole Russian culture teaches that a woman finds her highest fulfillment and joy in being a wife and mother. They learn these skills from their mother’s at a young age.

Most women in the FSU have a college degree or are working on one. Many have knowledge (at least to a degree) of a 2nd or 3rd language. These ladies are very well educated.

She will pride herself on her appearance. I do not mean to say that she is stuck up or anything like that. However, she will dress as nicely as she can afford, wear her make-up, and generally present herself as appealing. This is how they are taught to attract a man. Again, very traditional. She usually walks 1-2 miles a day, staying very fit and healthy. How many times have you seen an overweight American woman going to the store or mall in her big bulky sweat pants, looking disheveled, as if she just rolled out of bed? An FSU woman will NEVER let this happen to herself! Many of my friends were amazed at the amount of resentment their wives raised from other women. They were jealous! Also, the FSU woman will tend to you. She will not let you go out of the house without a pressed shirt, nice pants, and polished shoes. This is their culture. And I for one love it! I think most men would enjoy being with a woman who feels this way.

After nearly 80 years of Communist rule, the FSU has some of the most adaptable people anywhere in the world. These ladies, for the most part, know about living in a poor economy. They know how to make something out of nothing. They are not afraid of difficulties. In the West we tend to emphasize the outer things–money, possessions, etc… In the FSU, they more highly value the person. Friendship and inner beauty are very important to most FSU women. She will love you for who you are. In the end, isn’t this what every man really wants?

Are you in search of your Russian woman? Impatient to see the pretty Russian girl you have met online? Now you know for sure you are ready to set out in search of your best relationship ever…
Bottom line is this: you have decided to go to Russia in winter whether or not you are corresponding with anyone. You will have a great trip: the country is beautiful, special and unforgettable. You probably feel excited by future socials and frustrated by Russian winter.
Don’t get frustrated. This article will help you and give some tips on how to survive Russian winter and what to wear in order to survive it.

The winter weather.
First off, check out in the Internet: you have the easiest and the quickest way to search the winter weather in the city you plan on visiting.
Usually it’s rather cold, freezing or below, in the majority areas in Russia in January and February. December is milder. Be prepared to slip on ice and be dusted with snow. Ukraine is warmer.
It can get down to -15 degrees Celsius, give or take 10 degrees during most of the time. And this is considered warm compared to Siberia where you can experience bitter cold.
The way you will survive the Russian winter depends on where you are from and what temps you are used to. Coming from Las Vegas, most countries will feel really cold to you. If you are from Alaska, Russia will seem less freezing.

What to wear in order to survive the Russian winter.
Stock up on warm clothing:
~really warm jacket or a heavy winter coat;
~a shirt and a sweater that you can wear underneath;
~decent fleece lined walking boots;
~thick gloves;
~fleece or flannel lined jeans;
~a fleece or wool scarf;
~a wool hat;
~warm socks.

The piece of advice I can offer:
Dry healthy feet and warm hands help your whole body feel more comfortable; Don’t plan on walking for more than an hour without finding a place to warm up.
I would stay away from the clothing you can not take off in a restaurant: if you are going to use layering system you will be too hot.
A warm jacket, a shirt and a sweater that you can wear underneath are enough. When you get to wherever you are going you take off your warm jacket and you are comfortable.
Going to the restaurant with your pretty Russian girl you will be in a taxi usually.
Capital cities have plenty to do. Smaller ones are quiet in winter.
In conclusion, if you don’t want to stick out like a tourist wear reserved colours like dark blue, brown or black.
